| End of School Year Accolades |

On Thursday night Senior Student-Athletes at CHS were honored. CHS Girls' Ice Hockey players Stephanie Rizzitano and Michelle McNeil were individually recognized as well. Stephanie received the Hall of Fame Spirit Award, as voted on by the Senior class, for her immense support and passion for all CHS Athletic teams. Michelle McNeil received the Hall of Fame Sportsmanship Award for both her "academic and athletic achievements, leadership qualities, contributions to the team, appreciation and value of teamwork, ability to command respect, and exemplary conduct on and off the field of competition." Michelle also received a $500 scholarship along with this award. This also marks the second year in a row where a CHS Varsity Girls' Ice Hockey player received the Sportsmanship Award. Nikki Wanless received the award in 2011. Michelle was also recognized as one of seven CHS seniors that participated in three sports their senior year. Additionally, Michelle was also recognized with junior Meghan Lennon as Hockomock League Spring-Season All-Stars.
On Friday night seniors Michelle McNeil, Haley Gaughan, and Stephanie Rizzitano will celebrate their high school years at Canton High School when they receive their diplomas at graduation. Congratulations to these three young ladies for their accomplishments and best of luck for the future!
